Optimise Music Wales
The Optimise Music Wales project was conceived and delivered by Dark Arts and funded by the Welsh Government through Creative Wales. Its aim was to safeguard and enhance the digital visibility of Wales’ musical heritage.
Over the course of the project we audited the digital spaces of 20 artists from Wales, highlighting gaps, opportunities and underperforming assets. The process created practical roadmaps for the artists and their teams to improve their digital footprints and video catalogues for today’s platforms.
The project supported some of Wales’ most celebrated artists, including Tom Jones, Catatonia, Manic Street Preachers, Super Furry Animals, and Charlotte Church, helping ensure their work remains discoverable, competitive, and accessible to new generations of listeners.
